Well, we decided to share this fun, educational experience with the entire world. We are starting a series of video tutorials that will help in your learning and knowledge of quilting and sewing.
Also, to get you started on the path to faster quilting, we are giving away 1 yard of grid, the Le Bouquet Charm Pack (featured on video), and the Prayer Shawl panel from our "Say it With Words" line of fabric panels. All you have to do is comment below your favorite quilting notion. You can get additional entries into the drawing by:
Happy Sewing!
Congratulations on all of the followers and growing success of your business!!! I love your panels and I love that you have this specific panel that brings Him the glory and honor, and shows love to those during times of trial and sorrow.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite sewing notion...would a charm pack count? ;) I love to collect them and put them back until I have a special someone to sew for that would appreciate the creation. But I would have to say that beside that, a seam ripper is my favorite! LOL I use it not only to rip out mistakes buy also to help re-thread my machine when replacing the bobbin.
Have a blessed day!
Shannon, I agree that the seam ripper is a must have. It's amazing the uses it has, other than just ripping out the seams.

I Love my little Dritz plastic 6 inch ruler. My seams are sew much better when I measure. Love, love your site, and would love to win. Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteTerry, thanks for the comment. Yes, my rulers are always nearby (if not buried under some fabric) :-)

I love my stiletto. It helps me to sew even, accurate seams. Thanks for the chance and the great prize!
ReplyDeleteChris, thanks so much for reading our blog. I'm going to have to try and use my stiletto more often (thanks for the tip).

Great video! My favorite notion are my rotary cutters. Where would we be without them!!! The time they save and the potential for accuracy are amazing. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteSunshine, thanks for the kind words. The rotary cutter is great - we even have one in the warehouse designated just for paper :-)

my favorite notion is glass headed pins. They are easier to sew over; the butterfly heads seem to get hit by my needle (yes I know I'm supposed to pull the pins out as I sew, but I get in a rush).
ReplyDeleteLinda,
DeleteI've never used glass headed pins, but I'm going to have to try that. I remove my pins, but sometimes I get to sewing and forget - great tip!

Jill

ReplyDeleteHands down my favorite notion is the Clover fork pins. They are so awesome to hold the seams just right and go on each side of the seam when joining blocks
ReplyDeleteBrenda, I've never used those but now I'm going to try it - thanks for the great tip :-)

My seam ripper is definitely my most used notion!
ReplyDeleteFacebook follower!
ReplyDeleteThank you for a great giveaway! The notion I can't live without is my little nipper scissors. It fits on my finger and is always in my hand to clip stray threads etc. My hand feels *naked* without it! LOL
ReplyDeleteI am a happy follower too. :-)
ReplyDeleteI just bought a new ruler - Bloc-Loc Half Square Triangle Square Up Ruler. I had a kit that involved 192 half square triangles. Boy, did it help me square those things up!
